Successful sale of a real DIY project...

We are pleased to announce the successful sale of 48 Ringwood Road, a lovely old character house standing on a fabulous large plot. The house offered massive potential either for redevelopment or for a private person wanting to create their own dream home. It was in a shocking state but nevertheless, huge interest was shown as soon as we placed it to the market at the beginning of January. After over 50 vieiwngs and an open day, some very strong bidding eventually saw a sale agreed in excess of £600,000 - well over the guide price of £550,000. From agreeing the sale on 25th January it took just over three weeks for the sale to complete. It just goes to show how quickly these sales can be pushed through when everyone involved is working with a common goal. We can't wait to see what the new owners do - apparantly they have big plans to restore the house to its former glory.
